1. Confidentiality: We prioritise the privacy of our clients and uphold strict confidentiality guidelines. Any information shared during therapy sessions will be kept strictly confidential, unless there is a legal obligation to disclose or if there is a risk of harm to the child or others.

2. Consent: Prior to engaging in play therapy, written consent from the parent or legal guardian of the child is required. This ensures that all parties involved are aware of the purpose, benefits, and limitations of play therapy.

3. Professionalism: Our therapists are highly trained professionals who adhere to ethical standards and best practices in play therapy. We expect our clients to treat our therapists with respect and professionalism, and in turn, we will provide the same level of care and respect to our clients.

4. Cancellation Policy: We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, requiring the cancellation or rescheduling of therapy sessions. We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or changes. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee. 

5. Professionals will be provided with an invoice for our services. We kindly request that payment be made prior to the scheduled therapy sessions. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but please note that any no-shows will still be charged. For more information please download document at the bottom of this page.

6. Payment: Our therapy services are fee-based, and payment is expected at the time of booking. We accept various forms of payment, including cash, and online transfers. We will provide detailed invoices for insurance purposes if requested.

7. Social Media is a big part of our business. We will take pictures of our sessions however rest assured no person will be identifiable from the pictures. If you would rather no pictures to be taken then this needs to be made in writing at PollyHannahPlayTherapy@gmail.com. 

8.  We understand the importance of group bookings for our clients. However, it is essential to note that we reserve the right to turn away individuals who have made incorrect bookings. We kindly request our customers to carefully review the booking details and ensure they are selecting the appropriate group option.

9. Please be aware that prices for group bookings are subject to change. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date pricing, circumstances may arise that necessitate adjustments. We will make every effort to communicate any changes in advance, but we appreciate your understanding and flexibility in such situations

10. We prioritise the safety and well-being of all our clients and children. In order to provide the best possible care, we require medical information from each client. This includes any relevant medical conditions, medications, and allergies. By providing us with this information, we can ensure that our therapy sessions are tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual. If you have any concerns or questions regarding the collection and use of medical information, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are committed to maintaining open and transparent communication with our clients and their families.

11. Group behaviour is an essential aspect of Polly Hannah Play Therapy. We believe that creating a safe and supportive environment for all participants is crucial for the therapeutic process. In order to maintain this positive atmosphere, it is important that everyone respects the guidelines and rules set by the facilitator. However, there may be instances where individuals do not adhere to these guidelines, disrupting the group dynamics and potentially hindering the progress of others. In such cases, the facilitator has the authority to ask those not behaving appropriately to leave the session. By taking this action, we aim to protect the well-being of all participants and ensure that the therapeutic goals of Polly Hannah Play Therapy are met. We believe that maintaining a harmonious group environment is essential for the success of each individual's healing journey.

12. We understand the potential risks that may arise if sensitive information is disclosed to unauthorised individuals. Our commitment to confidentiality ensures that all personal information shared during therapy sessions remains strictly confidential. We prioritise the safety and well-being of our clients and adhere to professional ethical standards. Any information disclosed during therapy, including discussions about potential risks to oneself or others, will be treated with the utmost discretion and will not be shared without proper consent or legal obligation. It is important to note that, in certain circumstances, confidentiality may be breached if there is a reasonable suspicion of harm to oneself, others, or involvement in criminal activities. However, such disclosures will only be made when absolutely necessary and in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

13. Competition Rules: Eligibility: The competition is open to all individuals aged 18 years and above. Employees of Polly Hannah Play Therapy and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. Entry: To enter the competition, participants must follow Polly Hannah Play Therapy on all social media accounts, including Facebook and Instagram. Participants must also like and share the competition post on their respective social media profiles. Duration: The competition will run for a period of two weeks, starting from the date of the competition post. Entries received after the specified deadline will not be considered. Winner Selection: One winner will be chosen randomly from all eligible entries. The winner will be notified through direct message on the respective social media platform. If the winner fails to respond within 48 hours, another winner will be selected. Prize: This will need to be collected from Polly Hannah, address on the contact page. Publicity: By participating in the competition, participants grant Polly Hannah Play Therapy the right to use their name and social media handle for promotional purposes, without any further compensation. By entering the competition, participants agree to abide by these rules and all decisions made by Polly Hannah Play Therapy. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, any social media platform.
